R. Mark Beadle, Ed.D.
Founder & CEO Emeritus
Prior to conceptualizing Sevenstar, Dr. Beadle was the founding principal of Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy, a school that has won national awards and grown to 1400 students.

Head of School
Brett counts himself blessed to have spent his career merging his faith and profession, holding executive roles with faith-based organizations. He is degreed in computer science, business administration, and project management, with advanced degrees in public administration and jurisprudence.
In addition to his leadership at Sevenstar, Brett is a certified business coach, a Policy Governance® trainer, and serves as chief governance officer of Saint Mary Development Corporation, which is working to eliminate homelessness in Southwest Ohio-where he lives and worships with his wife and daughter.
Charles Sager, M.B.A.
Charles serves in a position that is a ministry all unto its own by helping young men and women receive an education and grow in faith. He works with schools to ensure that faith is a part of their students daily life, and there is no better job in the world.
Charles has an MBA in Organization Development and is now pursuing a masters in theology with Dallas Theological Seminary.
He is fulfilling a calling at Sevenstar to help God’s people receive top notch education, and his belief in Christ leads him to practice excellence in work, as well as in worship using his mind (education) and spirit.
In the cool months of the year he runs ½ marathons with his wife and hunts down local coffee. He is currently attempting to finish one book a week.
Jon previously served as the IT Director for the private Christian college in Cincinnati where he received a business degree. With over 15 years of experience working in Christian education, he has a heart for excellence and serving others. Jon was originally hired as an instructional designer. He enjoys the challenge of technical projects and supporting our staff and students in their educational and spiritual journeys.
Before joining Sevenstar, Miriam enjoyed over a decade in project and operations roles with several non-profit ministries. Having been a student at a small Christian school herself, she is thankful for the Biblical faith foundation that she received through Christian education, and she deeply values that opportunity being made available to others. With an undergrad in Political Science and currently pursuing an MBA, she relishes quality time with friends/family and enjoys traveling–preferably to destinations offering cross-cultural involvement, scenic views or challenging hiking.
Karrie Hahn, M.A.
School Services Specialist
Prior to joining Sevenstar, Karrie served as the Associate Dean of Students at a private Christian university in Southern California, and has taught English, Bible, and Science at the middle and high school levels. She holds a bachelor’s degree in speech communications, a master’s degree in biblical counseling, and is a certified English teacher and school counselor. She loves working in Christian education because of the rich opportunities to speak openly to students about how the gospel of Jesus Christ impacts every part of their lives.
Pam Thompson has truly enjoyed working in technical support for the past 20 years. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business information systems with a certificate in communications from Indiana Wesleyan University. In 2009, Pam completed her emergency medical technician (EMT) certification and serves as a volunteer EMT to her local fire department and her community In WV. In all compacities, Pam’s heart desire is to share God’s love and compassion.
Susan Powell, Ed.D.
Student Services Specialist
Susan Powell has an Ed.D. in educational leadership with an emphasis in organizational change and school reform. Her district administrative experience focused in the areas of technology, curriculum and instruction, assessment, and program implementation. Susan spent the last nine years assisting schools with their implementation of K-12 online learning programs. Her roles included professional development, data analysis, and strategic account management. Susan enjoys serving in lots of fun church ministries and spending time with eleven grandchildren ranging in age from newborn to 5 years old.
