Welcome to our New Instructional Services Team for Sevenstar

We are very excited to introduce to you the Instructional Services Team.  We have new team members joining us to provide exceptional support to our students, families, schools, and instructors.


Quentin McCart – Instructional Services Specialist

Quentin will work directly with Sevenstar instructors to provide professional development and support as they facilitate our online courses.  He will reach out to instructors very soon with our plans for Professional Learning Communities that will begin this month.



Get to know a little more about Quentin:

  • Wife: Wendy (married since August 2, 2008) I met my wife when we both went on a short-term mission trip for Child Evangelism Fellowship in 2006.
  • Sons: Stefan (September 1, 2011) and Abel (February 2, 2014)
  • No pets yet.
  • B.A. History/English (Minor), University of Central Oklahoma
  • M.Div., Tyndale Theological Seminary
  • M.Div. (Military Chaplaincy), Liberty Seminary
  • M.Ed. (Curriculum & Instruction), Sam Houston State University (almost complete)
  • Missions – I serve on the board for Grace Abroad Ministries.
  • Running – I have completed two marathons and two half-marathons.
  • Reading- probably GK Chesterton The Everlasting Man is my favorite book of the last five years.
  • Sports – Dallas has a lot of bad teams to be disappointed by.

Bridgett Doddy – Student Services Specialist

Bridgett will support our students as they work in their online courses.  She will oversee our student orientation materials and monitor student progress alongside our instructors to ensure that our students have a great start to their course experience.  She will also support our instructors through the Early Alert system and collaborate to help get students back on track in their courses.



Get to know a little more about Bridgett:

  • I am married to my husband Brant.  Brant, a law enforcement officer, is a native East Texan, I am a native West Texan, and we now make our home in North Texas (Dallas area).
  • We have two sons, Nathaniel and Noah.
  • Our family is active in youth sports, Cub Scouts, and our congregation, West End Church of Christ.
  • B.S. Interdisciplinary Studies in Education, Jarvis Christian College.
  • After 15 years, I recently returned to school to complete my M. Ed in Reading.  Lord willing, I will finish in December 2019.
  • I love to read.  Currently, I am reading Victory in Spiritual Warfare by Tony Evans.
  • I especially love downtime with my family.  Movie night is a favorite with our blankets, popcorn, and sweet treats.
  • Lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan – “How ‘bout them Cowboys!”
Teaching/Work Experience:
  • Texas Teacher Certification: Grades 1-6, Self-contained.
  • 10+ years in student services in higher education, including financial aid, TRIO, registration, veterans affairs, and academic support.

Karrie Hahn – School Services Specialist

Karrie will serve our partner schools to help them develop strong online programs.  She will collaborate with our marketing and sales team to provide engaging materials that support the promotion of online courses for our partner schools.  She will also help schools through the entire onboarding process by providing training to order courses and monitor student progress.



Get to know a little more about Karrie:

  • I grew up in the Dallas area and recently returned after spending 10 years in Southern California. 
  • I enjoy spending time playing and laughing with my two young nieces.
  • Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communications, Texas A&M University
  • Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling, The Master’s University
  • Certified English Teacher, 6th-12th grade
  • Certified School Counselor, EC-12th grade
  • Being outside in nature
  • Finding treasures at thrift stores
  • Reading medical non-fiction books
  • Exploring cities and finding the most unique places to hang out

  • 6th, 7th, and 8th grade English teacher, 7th grade Bible teacher, 11th grade Science teacher

Charles Sager – Enrollment Specialist

Charles will continue to provide amazing support to all families and schools that wish to enroll students in our online courses.  He spends most of his time speaking with families and schools that have questions about our courses and would like more information. He has been an amazing addition to our Sevenstar team since November 2017.



Get to know a little more about Charles:

  • Wife: Shelby ( anniversary September 22, 2013), coming up on 5 years of marriage.
  • Two cats (Petey age 2) and (Noel 4)
  • No Kids yet.
  • Journalism/Advertising -Bachelors of Arts (2006), University of Central Oklahoma
  • M.Div., Tyndale Theological Seminary
  • MBA – Organizational Development, Oklahoma Christian University
  • Th M. Dallas Theological Seminary (In progress)
  • Running – I have completed 1 marathon and 3 half-marathons.
  • Reading – I read about lots of dead people concerning the Christian faith.
  • Guitar – I still play heavy metal in my bedroom like when I was 13.

Christina Paulk – Director of Instructional Services

Christina will continue to support our schools, families, and instructors in this new role.  Her focus is on providing excellent educational experiences for students enrolled in our online Christian courses.  She joined our Sevenstar team in December 2013.



Get to know a little more about Christina:

  • Husband: Terry (married since October 2006).
  • Two children: Kevin (11 yrs old) and Mary Katherine (10 yrs old)
  • Bunny farm (3 bunnies) and 2 dogs
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education
  • Master’s Degree in Education (Specialization in Educational Technology)
  • Scouting – My husband and I are both scout leaders.  We love going camping, fishing, hiking, and helping young people grow into the gifts God has given to them.
  • Science Experiments – I love doing science experiments with my children to discover how God has made things work.
  • Reading – I read mostly non-fiction and love history, education, art-n-crafts, science, and travel topics.
  • Teaching – I will always be a teacher.  I have been a youth minister and CCD teacher for many years.  I currently teach first grade at my church.
