Sevenstar’s high school program expands available course options through rigorous, biblically integrated offerings—including AP®, dual credit, and a wide range of electives. Flexible solutions such as credit recovery and part-time enrollment allow students to stay on track, catch up, or move ahead, while helping schools and families support academic success at every level.

Advanced Placement®

Sevenstar’s AP® courses are College Board certified, ensuring students receive high-quality instruction that prepares them for success on AP® exams and potential college credit.

Credit Recovery

Many core academic courses are available in a credit recovery format, allowing students to retake failed courses or improve their GPA. This flexible option helps keep learners on track for graduation.

Dual Enrollment

Through a trusted Christian university partnership, students can earn college credit while in high school.

Flexible Course Timelines

  • Allow students the flexibility to set their own course start dates

  • Utilize an asynchronous model that lets students work at their own pace

  • Provide up to six months for half-credit courses and one year for full-credit courses to be completed

  • Include options to delay, pause, or extend courses, giving schools the flexibility to accommodate unexpected challenges

Available Courses

English

Sevenstar’s high school English courses equip students to analyze literature not just for communication skills, but to engage thoughtfully with themes of human life and thought—through a biblical lens. We offer a full progression of English courses, including credit recovery options for all four years and AP®-level courses in both English Language & Composition and English Literature & Composition, expanding access to college-preparatory learning.

Mathematics

Sevenstar offers a wide range of high school math courses ranging from foundational options like Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Geometry to specialized courses such as Consumer Math, Liberal Arts Math, Honors Pre-Calculus, and AP® Calculus AB.

Credit recovery is available for Algebra 1 and 2, providing flexible solutions to help students stay on track and meet graduation requirements.

Science

With options spanning physical and life sciences—including biology, chemistry, and AP® Biology—students can pursue a rigorous, biblically integrated science education.

Bible

Sevenstar’s high school Bible courses help students develop a personal faith by deepening their understanding of Scripture and its relevance today. Covering Old and New Testament surveys, apologetics, doctrine, biblical worldview, and faith-based decision making, these courses help students learn how to live out their beliefs in a modern cultural context.

History / Social Studies

Sevenstar’s high school history and social studies courses help equip students to understand and engage with the world through a God-honoring perspective. Offering subjects such as U.S. and world history, geography, economics, government, and global cultures, these biblically integrated courses support a well-rounded social studies program.

Credit recovery options are available for key courses, and students can pursue AP® credit in U.S. and modern world history, government and politics, as well as economics and fine arts courses related to history.

World Languages

Sevenstar offers a wide range of world language options such as American Sign Language, Chinese, French, German, Spanish, and Latin.

AP® English Language and Composition

In AP® English Language and Composition, students learn to be better students of English, as well as better communicators ― skills God can use both locally and worldwide. Students read prose

American Sign Language

This course introduces students to basic ASL communication and Deaf culture. Through a biblical lens, they explore community, calling, and prayer while learning about key figures like Thomas Gallaudet and Andrew Foster.


Note: ASL 2 and 3 are also available for students who wish to continue their learning.

Apologetics

Apologetics equips students with a strong foundation in defending their Christian faith. The first semester covers the history and practice of apologetics from the early church to today. The second semester focuses on key topics like Jesus’ life, evangelism, creation, and the problem of evil, all rooted in the truth of Christ.

Forensic Science

This elective introduces students to the scientific methods used in crime scene investigation. Students explore techniques like DNA analysis, toxicology, and microscopy while reflecting on God’s justice and mercy. The course combines scientific inquiry with a biblical understanding of order and design in creation.
