Liberal Arts Math
God is the foundation of mathematics and He uses it to sustain His creation in a consistent manner, so it is important that we use mathematics as a tool to fully understand, enjoy, explore, and shepherd God’s creation. Liberal Arts Math enables students to strengthen algebraic and geometric concepts and skills necessary for further study of mathematics. They learn to be better stewards of God’s creation while using equations, geometric relationships, and statistical probabilities. Students learn to use the relationships between different data to make decisions about the best use of the resources God has given us. This class gives students a grand tour of problems and puzzles that show how things work and how mathematics provides valuable tools for everyday living.
