MS Career Exploration

This course introduces students to the world of work by first introducing the biblical perspective of work and explaining how to exhibit Christlikeness in the workplace. The course guides students in the exploration of career options in a variety of fields such as teaching, business, government, hospitality, health science, IT, and more. Students align their interests and strengths to various career possibilities. They compare the pros and cons of different career choices and learn about the required skills and education for each. The course also helps students identify the required steps to prepare for their careers of interest and how to prioritize God when searching for a job. Along the way, students explore the correlation between their God-given callings and their careers, the traits of godly leadership, the biblical perspective on rest and recreation, and how to exhibit Christlikeness in the workplace.
